Chris Martin Debuts New Coldplay Song at Apple Convention

Coldplay frontman Chris Martin gave Apple employees a special treat on Wednesday, September 1 when he performed a surprise show during a convention in California. The singer took to the stage at the end of an Apple press conference in San Francisco and performed Coldplay songs “Yellow” and “Viva La Vida”.

And he had an extra special treat for the workers – debuting new track “Wedding Bells”, according to NME.com. Introducing the track, Martin joked, “This is a new song called Coldplay 2.6 and it has a lot of new features; it features seven different kinds of chords and even a new one that our closest rivals have no idea about.”

Earlier this year, Kanye West also made a surprise visit to Twitter and Facebook headquarters. He was there to promote his next studio installment which is expected to arrive later this year.

T.I. Busted for Possession of Controlled Substance

Newlyweds T.I. and Tameka Cottle aka Tiny were arrested on Wednesday night, September 1. According to TMZ, T.I., real name Clifford Joseph Harris Jr., and his new wife were taken into custody and booked for alleged possession of a controlled substance.

The site further revealed that T.I. and Tiny had a run-in with the law after L.A. County Sheriff’s deputies pulled over the couple while they were driving in a Maybach on Sunset Boulevard at around 10:30 P.M. that night. They were later arrested as officers smelled marijuana in the vehicle.

Detail on how much marijuana was found in the vehicle or if another substance was found has not yet been revealed. T.I. and Tiny remained in custody as of press time, while a bail was already set at $10,000. Rap Up additionally mentioned that the pair is scheduled to make an appearance at the Beverly Hills Municipal Court on Friday.

T.I. and Tameka Cottle swapped vows in a courthouse in Miami, Florida on July 30. The stars later celebrated their nuptials with a second wedding off the coast of Miami, Florida on the next day. The wedding itself followed T.I.’s prison release in April after pleading guilty to weapon possession charges.
